50th International Session of the Model European Parliament Program (Paris - Strasbourg)
During the days 16 to 23 February 2019, the 50th International Model Program of the European Parliament took place in Paris and Strasbourg.
The MEP Program - Model of the European Parliament organized by the San Patricio Foundation is an educational program, whose objective is to promote among the young people the awareness of European citizenship and the culture of constructive parliamentary debate, through an innovative methodology that promotes essential skills for your future.
This international session was attended by a Spanish delegation consisting of five delegates: Sofía Peleteiro, Manuel Peleteiro College of Santiago de Compostela, Alejandro Fernández of San Buenaventura College of Murcia, Jaime Riaño of San Patricio School in Madrid, Mª Luisa Cara of Sek School -Alborán de Almería and Nicolás Martínez of the IES San Juan Bautista of Madrid, all of them accompanied by Borja Aguilar, Director of the San Patricio Foundation, who have been selected to represent Spain in this 50th International Session of the Model European Parliament. It has taken place in Paris and has culminated in Strasbourg with the General Assembly.
It has been a week with an intense program of activities, where delegates have spent three days working on Commissions European issues, together with the rest of the delegates from the 28 member countries of the EU and have finally discussed the resolutions, in the unbeatable framework of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 21 and 22 February.
As a final culmination they were able to attend an unbeatable gala in which the 25th anniversary of the International MEP was commemorated.
